Delhi Police Cancels All Personnel Leave Amid NEET Leak Protest Tensions, Emergency Leave Only Allowed

Delhi Police has cancelled all leaves of police personnel across ranks until further orders amid the ongoing NEET examination leak protests led by Cockroach Janta Party. The decision comes after clashes between protesters and police, with emergency leave allowed only as authorities focus on maintaining law and order in Delhi.

The Delhi Police has cancelled the leave of all its personnel across ranks until further orders amid the ongoing protest over the NEET examination leak led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP). The move has been taken to maintain law and order in the national capital as authorities remain alert over possible security challenges during the continuing demonstrations.

According to the new order, police personnel will be allowed leave only in emergency situations. The directive applies to officers and personnel of all ranks. Those who were already on leave during this period have been called back to duty with immediate effect, and their approved leave has been cancelled.

The decision comes as the student-led protest against the NEET examination leak, under the leadership of CJP, has continued in Delhi for the past 35 days. Since Monday, the movement has witnessed several instances of violence, with clashes reported between protesters and police personnel.

The police suspect the involvement of several disruptive elements in the protest and has started preparing measures to handle any possible situation. To ensure security and maintain public order in Delhi, the force has tightened arrangements by keeping all personnel available for duty.

The government has assured that strict legislation will be introduced against examination paper leaks. It has also accepted the demand for providing appropriate compensation to the families of those who died by suicide due to the NEET paper leak. The government has further assured that no cases will be registered against students and young people participating in peaceful protests and demonstrations.

However, the discussions between the government and CJP remain focused on the demand for the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan. The cancellation of police personnel leave highlights the administration’s heightened preparedness as tensions continue over the NEET examination leak protests.
